Biography

ONE LUNAR DAY are a six-piece progressive metal band from Zürich, founded in spring 2022 by drummer Dave Wieser. Their first performance took place at the Zürich University of the Arts, and the response from both audience and jury set the band on a faster path than most. In 2024 they were selected by a panel of industry experts to play Rock4Future, Switzerland’s showcase festival for heavy music — an unusual booking for a band with no released material.
Their music moves from epic euphoria to in-your-face djent riffs and sheer anger, through atmospheric melancholy, fragile despair and inner turmoil. The debut single arrives 16 October 2026, ahead of the concept album leave.
